Belagavi, Nov, 24^th : KAHER Athletic Meet – 2021 of the KLE Academy of Higher Education Deemed-to-be-University was inaugurated by Shri. Harsh Bhanu G P _S.F.S, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Belagavi Division, Belagavi at University on 24^th November 2021 by opening of Coconut Blossoms followed by the Torch Relay and lighting of the flame. Thereafter, the Sports Meet was declared open, after an oath was taken by the athlete for fair play and good sportsmanship.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Harsh Bhanu G P, called upon the students to actively involve in the sports and games activities, it gives you humanity and it will take you all together beyond the gender race on the field. In order to maintain balanced in student life Academic and  sports are the parts of the life and also appreciated the efforts of the University for encouraging the students for sports activities.

Speaking on the occasion, Registrar Prof. Dr. V. A. Kothiwale  emphasized that the students need to actively participate in various sports and games events.  He also informed that the University has been extending all necessary support and encouragement including providing infrastructure and equipments to ensure maximum participation of the students in various sports and games activities.

Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Principal, Shri. B. M. Kankanwadi Ayurved Mahavidyalay, Belagavi welcomed the  Chief Guest and the dignitaries on the dais, staff and student participants in the KAHER Athletic Meet.   Dr. N.S.Mahantshetti, Principal, JNMC, Dr. Alka D.Kale, Principal, KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Prof. Sudha A.Raddi, Principal, KLE Institute of Nursing Sciences, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Principal, KLE Institute of Physiotherapy, Dr. Mukund Udachankar, Principal, KLE College of Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr. Ranjit Kangale, Director, Students’ Welfare, KAHER,  Mr. Raveendra Khot, Physical Director were present. Dr. Vishwanath Wasedar, is Organizing Chairperson and Dr. P. G. Jadar, Vice-principal, BMK, proposed vote of thanks.  About 500 students from nine constituent units of the University are participating in various sports events in this KAHER Athletics Meet – 2021.
